Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 27 October 2026

These terms govern the sale of goods by ALMST Ltd to customers purchasing through almst.co.uk. Please read them before placing an order. By placing an order, you confirm that you accept these terms.

1. About us

ALMST is operated by ALMST Ltd, a company registered in Scotland under company number SC895228, with its registered office at 18 Kirkconnel Road, Bishopton, PA7 5RF, United Kingdom.

Correspondence should be directed to laura@almst.co.uk.

2. Formation of contract

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. Following submission, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt; this acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance of your order.

A contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch of the goods by email. Where we are unable to fulfil an order, we will notify you and refund any sums paid in full.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are aged 18 or over and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are displayed on the relevant product page in pounds sterling and are inclusive of all applicable UK taxes. ALMST Ltd is not currently registered for VAT; accordingly, no VAT is charged on orders delivered within the United Kingdom and no VAT invoice can be issued.

Prices may be revised at any time, save that revisions will not affect orders for which dispatch has already been confirmed.

Payment is accepted by debit card, credit card and supported digital wallets, and is taken at the point of order.

While prices are checked carefully, errors may occur. Where a product is listed at an incorrect price and the error is manifest, we are not obliged to supply the goods at that price. In such cases we will contact you for instructions prior to dispatch, or cancel the order and issue a full refund.

4. Delivery

United Kingdom. Delivery charges are calculated at checkout and shown before payment. Orders are dispatched within two working days; orders placed after 2pm are processed from the following working day.

International. We currently deliver to Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain. For eligible EU orders, applicable duties and taxes are calculated and collected at checkout, and your order ships with duties prepaid, so you won’t be asked to pay import charges on delivery.

Delivery timescales are estimates and depend on the carrier. Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.

5. Right to cancel

Where you contract as a consumer, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. ALMST extends this period to 30 days.

To exercise this right, notify us by email at laura@almst.co.uk from the address used to place the order, quoting your order number. No reason need be given.

Goods must be returned within 14 days of notification, unworn, unwashed and with all tags attached, in the condition in which they were received. Return postage is at your own cost and the goods remain your responsibility until received by us; a tracked service is recommended.

Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods, using the original payment method.

6. Faulty or misdescribed goods

Where goods are faulty, damaged in transit or not as described, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in full and are not affected by these terms.

Please contact laura@almst.co.uk with your order number and photographs of the issue. We will arrange a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate, and will reimburse reasonable return postage costs.

7. Liability

We are liable for foreseeable losses arising from our breach of these terms. Our total liability in respect of any order is limited to the price paid for the goods.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income, loss of profit or wasted expenditure.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Events beyond our control

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including adverse weather, industrial action, carrier failure or interruption to supply. Where such an event occurs, we will notify you promptly and will either agree a revised delivery date with you or issue a full refund.

9. Variation

We reserve the right to amend these terms. The terms applicable to your order are those published at the time the order was placed.

10. Governing law

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the law of Scotland. The Scottish courts shall have jurisdiction.
